croatia in pictures: rooftops, lakes and truffles

two weeks in croatia both flew right on by. we started on the coast and made our way north covering dubrovnik, stone, split and porec and made inland areas stops in krka falls, lake plitvice, rovinj and zagreb. the orange rooftops and ionian waters photograph amazingly well, is loaded with history, has well restored old towns (that look strikingly similar after a while) as well as great food for all palates. while dubrovnik and lake plitvice was what drew us to croatia, zagreb and rovinj’s truffles left their imprints on our hearts and stomachs.
