tokyo (2020) in pictures: teamlab borderless & the tour de ramen

rounded off the 2020 japan trip with 5 days in tokyo to meet up with haha, frank & karan. teamlab borderless on odaiba was a mindblowing experience. with only a couple days in town managed to revisit some fav spots of ours from 2016. gyokotsu shio ramen. butayaro butadon. monjayaki. kikanbo tsukemen. afuri tsukmen (x3). chukasoba nishino sansho soba (!!!). after 5 days, it was back to vancouver for me while they ventured on towards yokohama, naoshima and osaka. had originally planned to go back to hokkaido as i had a season pass at kiroro but the forecast wasn’t looking too promising. shortly after getting back home, that whole covid thing kind of happened…
