nicaragua in pictures: island hopping, sea turtles and volcano boarding with friends

three weeks in nicaragua went by in the blink of an eye thanks to spending most of it with vince and frank. colourful streets of granada, sunsets and another broken firehose of a shower in ometepe, kayaking and sunrise stalking in laguna de apoyo, meeting friends in leon, releasing baby turtles to sea, volcano boarding/toboganning, getting traumatized by a cow slaughter prior to our boat ride to little corn island, beaching it up at playa maderas and tying it all together with nica libres. fun fact: after getting back to vancouver, my last time drinking hard liquor (2017) involved nicaragua’s flor de cana rum. so nicaragua has left a lasting impression on me in more ways than one.
