Even before we left, I knew that I want to come back to Granada. It’s such a beautiful city. So much greenery, colourful gardens, nice plazas to hangout. The city is small enough that you can walk everywhere.

Within the city, there are many gardens known as carmens. Some are open to the public for free, some charge a small fee. The one we visited is called Carmen de los Martinez which had views of the Alhambra and the city below. I wanted to go because I read somewhere that there are peacocks in the carmen.
Managed to find this beautyWe got pretty close to him taking pictures, not sure if peacocks attack…
Also located a preening peacock of the Asian varietyMet a wild doggy living in the carmen, not sure if he’s eating enough, he’s pretty skinnyA duck fortIt was about lunch time
We got kicked out around 3pm when the garden closed for siesta. But it’s okay because there is always wine and Iberian ham waiting for us.
