Love Love Sand

I really really love the peanut butter Love Love Sand. It was my daily quilty pleasure in Asahikawa until killjoy jojo reminded me how much sugar and calories are in one of these packages. Boo.
The Love Love Sand are two pieces of white bread without crust pressed together to make a pocket for creamy fillings with flavors such as peanut butter, honey, Oreo, strawberry, etc. White bread seems to be the only choice in Japan. They definitely have not gotten the whole wheat memo and nowhere near the gluten free bandwagon.
Luckily for my waistline, I have not been able to find the Love Love Sand outside of Asahikawa but one can still dream that we will meet again.

So true, he ate a loaf of white milk bread for the entire day when he went snowboarding.
