Shanghai Nights

Spent the last day in Shanghai doing laundry and getting a massage. Decided to check out the Bund at night. I popped into the lobby bistro at the Peace Hotel to grab some nosh.

After three weeks of Chinese food, I was pretty happy having spaghetti Bolognese tonight. Rice will always be my first choice carb but pasta is a pretty close second. It was also nice to be able to enjoy a glass of wine while people watch from the bistro windows.

Lots of people out at night to enjoy the evening view along the Bund.

Nanjing Road is also brightly lit. Tonight it is a bit warmer and the walk back to the hotel was very pleasant.

Tomorrow I join jojo in Japan. Really looking forward to starting our RTW trip together. Hokkaido, here we come!
