santorini in pictures: black beaches, gyros and sunsets

a week in santorini was just the right amount of time.  long enough to link up with jp for a few days in the middle of his travels for some beach days but not long enough to get burnt to a crisp and eat ourselves into human gyros.   everything we’ve heard about santorini was true: the whole island is beautiful and the greeks can make you laugh at anything.  what they don’t tell you is that their public buses travel at breakneck speeds so if you’re on the road when they are, you better find somewhere to hide.
